Intuitive EFT Tapping
My personal experience is that it sometimes takes a bit (or alot) of processing to get to a place of feeling good.. I have a huge tool kit for shifting how I am feeling. Sometimes I use Reiki, exercise, sitting in the sun, eating healthy food (especially protein), thinking happier thoughts, etc. etc – and sometimes it helps, – and sometimes it doesn’t. My beloved teacher, Rosalyn Bruyere, used to use the phrase “putting whipped cream on garbage” when she talked about needing to clean up what was underneath something that may look good on the surface. Great visual!
As much as I believe in the Law of Attraction and managing my thoughts and feelings, I also believe very much in releasing or letting go of what does not serve me. We need to clean out wounds so they can heal from the inside out – we can’t just keep covering them up. I do this with my clients, and I do this with myself – choosing to get into “what’s underneath the underneath”.
I first started tapping in early 2011, after watching the movie “The Tapping Solution”. I then took two levels of live training in EFT, and numerous online classes. EFT uses stress-reduction acupuncture points to help clear the body of stress, pain, upset..
You can use tapping on anything – physical or emotional pain, illness, emotional anger, fear, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, mental issues. Personally, with tapping, I have changed my relationship with food, and dropped over 30 pounds with no effort. My business and income has increased significantly. I quickly clear out stress and anger and am happy most of the time. And, if I am upset or angry or down, I tap!
Tapping is easy, quick (often 5 minutes or less), and you can do it anywhere! Here is an excellent explanation of tapping, from the Ortners (The Tapping Solution).
I like to do what I call “intuitive tapping”. Traditional EFT is a very simple “recipe” for clearing. When I use tapping for myself or my clients, I allow my intuition to bring up words or phrases to clear (tap on). I may start with one “issue” and end up clearing a different issue… It is very powerful, and I often feel a physical “shudder & release” when I hit on just the right words.

“I just wanted to take the time out to say thank you to you. Thank you for helping me when I needed help and taking the time out for me. I wanted to let you know that I have been using tapping on a daily basis and I am much more calmer. …However, I am not as sad or anxious as I was before. The tapping has been helping me relax and stay calm and focused.” SN
