Remember - Dreams Come True!

800px 048tcOnce upon a time there was a magic kingdom made of hopes and childhood fantasies. A timeless place where every land is filled with wonder. A place where everyone who enters its gates will be given the gift to be young at heart, and the power to wish upon a star It is time to open your heart and remember - dreams come true. These words were spoken by Julie Andrews at the beginning of the Fireworks Spectacular at Disneyland. And, as I opened my heart and remembered, tears filled my eyes - again!

My few days at Disneyland in early February - by myself - were a profound spiritual experience filled with magic, a sense of coming home and remembering who I ... READ MORE

How to Let Those Bad Feelings Go

Flowwaterclose260I have been the queen of stuffing it - being patient, being compassionate, being understanding - AND too much of the time, being angry or frustrated or sad or afraid - and not really being aware of it! Its how I was raised. Its how nice people act. Its an unconscious reaction - or it used to be. I remember talking to my mother and sister years ago about boundaries - and they asked in unison Whats a boundary?. Ha Ha!

The older I get, the more aware I am of how I am feeling in the moment, rather than unconsciously ignoring my feelings. And, although my automatic response is often still to stuff it, my conscious response is to speak up, or to make a ... READ MORE

ArchmichaelThe cycles and changes in life never cease to amaze me! We get to love, hold on, let go, feel pain, feel joy, feel peace - and breathe and trust! I am experiencing and seeing more changes and shifts right now than I have in a long time. I sense this is part of our Winter Solstice, and the energy around December 21, 2012.

What a month this has been! My dear friend Lisa died peacefully in her home, with her mother and sister by her side, on Tuesday, November 27. She was 58. I was honored to spend time with her the week before, and the Sunday and Monday before her passing. On Monday, the night before she died, there was so much light and love and ... READ MORE

How to Get Happier

Smiling Dog ImgMy sister shared something very interesting with me a while ago - she said that she sometimes asks herself How would I be feeling and thinking if I was in the vortex? And then she consciously chooses to shift her attitude and step into the vortex! WOW! What a concept!

So, whats a vortex? It is the word that Abraham-Hicks (one of my favorite teachers) uses to describe being in a state of well-being, being in alignment, being happy, being connected to who we really are, being in the zone - you get the picture.

So, what would you be thinking if you were in the vortex? When I ask myself this, it is almost like I take a step to the side, a step into my vortex - and ... READ MORE

Stop Being A Vacuum Cleaner Bag!

When you lose touch with your inner stillness, you lose touch with yourself. When you lose touch with yourself, you lose yourself in the world.   Eckhart Tolle

How many of us grew up in less than happy homes? As children we remembered, for awhile, who we really were, but we thought that Archmichael(unconsciously, of course) if I just vacuum all this unhappiness up, and deal with it later, then everyone will be happy? And, I remember who I am, so I can handle it.

The problem was that we vacuumed up all the unhappiness, thinking the family would be happier - but they werent! They stayed unhappy! But now you are carrying around their unhappiness in your ... READ MORE

What Do You Really Really Love?

Flowwaterclose260I was listening to a Live Internet Broadcast of the Abraham-Hicks Workshop in San Francisco a few weeks ago. I love these teachings, and even though they basically say the same thing over and over, I always get something new. That morning I got how to be in alignment and be in the flow in a whole new way. Nothing new was said, I just heard it differently. And, as a result, I am feeling a whole new level of appreciation for my life, my work, my healthy body... and a whole new confidence in the law of attraction and life supporting me in amazing ways.

During the workshop, a man was asking about his career. Abraham has such a brilliant way of helping ... READ MORE

Healing is Teaching, and Teaching is Healing

Watercirclessparkles260I have been a student of Abraham-Hicks for years. And, for years I have wondered what to call "healing". Because, if you get sort of picky or literal about the Law of Attraction, the word "healing" implies that something is wrong. I was delighted during the Abraham Panama Canal Cruise (March 13 - 23, 2011) when Abraham was asked about healing. Here is a transcript of what was shared:

Whenever someone says to us I aspire to be a healer or I am a healer, we like to say we really really really like the word teacher/healer, teacher/healer, teacher/healer because everyone who is out of balance in terms of their physical body, and therefore what they would ... READ MORE

Choose One Word for the New Year 2012

New Years celebrations often include setting goals for the year, making New Years Resolutions, saying goodbye to the old and ringing in the new - oh, and drinking champagne. Fun, but most of us arent great at keeping our resolutions, and all too quickly get caught in our old hamster wheel of life. In fact, more often than not, our good intentions and resolutions end up making us feel worse about ourselves - because we have not lived up to our expectations. >/p>

I recently read a letter from one of my favorite authors in which she talked about choosing a word - just one word - before each new year, and using that word as a focus for ... READ MORE

Are You Happy?

I used to think I was part of the save the world team. I wanted to help heal as many people (and animals) as I could. I could feel the pain, theHappy Blog Beach injustice, the suffering - and sometimes I would forget I could not take it all on by myself. That belief eventually evolved into realizing that I am part of a team - I am not the only one who wants to save the world. There are millions of us. It is not all on my shoulders. What a relief. But I was still stuck in the linear thinking that because there is suffering in the world, that I had to carry it and suffer also.

Then I started to realize that, paradoxically, the happier I am - the more I help to create happiness on ... READ MORE
