I have been the queen of stuffing it - being patient, being compassionate, being understanding - AND too much of the time, being angry or frustrated or sad or afraid - and not really being aware of it! Its how I was raised. Its how nice people act. Its an unconscious reaction - or it used to be. I remember talking to my mother and sister years ago about boundaries - and they asked in unison Whats a boundary?. Ha Ha!
The older I get, the more aware I am of how I am feeling in the moment, rather than unconsciously ignoring my feelings. And, although my automatic response is often still to stuff it, my conscious response is to speak up, or to make a ... READ MORE
I wrote this article before the November election, when there was alot of stress, anger, and fear in the group energy. Now we are into the winter holiday time - another time when people seem to feel stressed and at times angry. This time of year, I often feel others' loneliness, or their sadness about not being able to afford what they want to give others, their stress about wanting to please and take care of loved ones, etc.
A big question I often ask myself and my clients is "Is it yours??". Just because you are feeling off-center, does not mean it is "yours". The group energy is bigger than your personal energy, and you can be affected by the group energy. So, the ... READ MORE
I was at the Chiropractor a while back, and I mentioned that the main challenges I am dealing with are digestion-related. After he heard my list of what I have been noticing, he said You need to work on your vagus nerve. Do you meditate? Well, yes I do - but I am aware that I am still stressed...
So, of course, when I got home I googled vagus nerve. Fascinating! The vagus nerve is the largest nerve in the body, and it helps to counter-balance the effects of stress! It has been called the great wandering protector. It connects to the throat, heart, lungs, spleen, liver, stomach, kidneys, pancreas, and intestines. Science is ... READ MORE
My sister shared something very interesting with me a while ago - she said that she sometimes asks herself How would I be feeling and thinking if I was in the vortex? And then she consciously chooses to shift her attitude and step into the vortex! WOW! What a concept!
So, whats a vortex? It is the word that Abraham-Hicks (one of my favorite teachers) uses to describe being in a state of well-being, being in alignment, being happy, being connected to who we really are, being in the zone - you get the picture.
So, what would you be thinking if you were in the vortex? When I ask myself this, it is almost like I take a step to the side, a step into my vortex - and ... READ MORE
A friend sent this link out for Christmas, 2011 (thank you Radha!).
When I made time to watch & listen, I was astounded at how my body reacted. I slowed down (from the craziness and overwhelm of the season). My breathing slowed, I could feel the peace. I smiled at the beauty of our earth. I felt present in my body. Ahhhh - we all need more of this.

Is there any better gift than to feel peace, feel love, feel present, feel good (God)?
Please comment and share how you feel while watching this lovely video.
I continue to be amazed at the healing that happens during my classes and sessions. Maybe thats why I never get tired of the world of energy and
healing. I see so many miracles.
Last weekend my most wonderful Intuitive Energy Medicine 8-month Program group met. Almost everyone dragged in on Saturday morning feeling overwhelmed, tired, stressed out, in some cases scared.. Some of the women expressed financial fears and stressors - basic survival issues. Some also shared boundary issues - taking care of others before taking care of self, and/or not expressing needs and feelings.
Of course, part of what was on my agenda was to teach about our kidneys and ... READ MORE
I am trying to stop looking at Google news because it makes me want to SCREAM. And, I am somewhat addicted to checking the news at least
twice a day! I am so frustrated to hear about all that is happening in Washington and our economy, and how those who need the most help will be getting less. As you can guess, I could go on with my rant - but what good will it do? Does it help fix things in Washington? no.. Does it help those in need? no.. Does it help me feel better? no!
What it does do is create unhealthy stress in my body/mind/emotions, and less than loving energy in my body and energy field, which can negatively affect anyone ... READ MORE
