When you lose touch with your inner stillness, you lose touch with yourself. When you lose touch with yourself, you lose yourself in the world. Eckhart Tolle
How many of us grew up in less than happy homes? As children we remembered, for awhile, who we really were, but we thought that
(unconsciously, of course) if I just vacuum all this unhappiness up, and deal with it later, then everyone will be happy? And, I remember who I am, so I can handle it.
The problem was that we vacuumed up all the unhappiness, thinking the family would be happier - but they werent! They stayed unhappy! But now you are carrying around their unhappiness in your ... READ MORE
In our Western culture, we are raised to believe that the world is black or white, good or bad, up or down... This is the literal, linear world that we think we live in.
However, the longer I dance in the world of energy and healing and spirit, the more I realize everything is paradox - everything is up and down, black and white, good and bad. We are physical and spiritual. Yin and Yang.
Earlier this year, I wrote about a dear friend of mine, Lisa Saubolle, who was diagnosed with cancer that had spread to multiple places in her spine. What a journey we are on! She recently signed up with Hospice, needs 24-hour care, and desperately wanted ... READ MORE
I was listening to a Live Internet Broadcast of the Abraham-Hicks Workshop in San Francisco a few weeks ago. I love these teachings, and even though they basically say the same thing over and over, I always get something new. That morning I got how to be in alignment and be in the flow in a whole new way. Nothing new was said, I just heard it differently. And, as a result, I am feeling a whole new level of appreciation for my life, my work, my healthy body... and a whole new confidence in the law of attraction and life supporting me in amazing ways.
During the workshop, a man was asking about his career. Abraham has such a brilliant way of helping ... READ MORE
I have been a student of Abraham-Hicks for years. And, for years I have wondered what to call "healing". Because, if you get sort of picky or literal about the Law of Attraction, the word "healing" implies that something is wrong. I was delighted during the Abraham Panama Canal Cruise (March 13 - 23, 2011) when Abraham was asked about healing. Here is a transcript of what was shared:
Whenever someone says to us I aspire to be a healer or I am a healer, we like to say we really really really like the word teacher/healer, teacher/healer, teacher/healer because everyone who is out of balance in terms of their physical body, and therefore what they would ... READ MORE
New Years celebrations often include setting goals for the year, making New Years Resolutions, saying goodbye to the old and ringing in the new - oh, and drinking champagne. Fun, but most of us arent great at keeping our resolutions, and all too quickly get caught in our old hamster wheel of life. In fact, more often than not, our good intentions and resolutions end up making us feel worse about ourselves - because we have not lived up to our expectations. >/p>
I recently read a letter from one of my favorite authors in which she talked about choosing a word - just one word - before each new year, and using that word as a focus for ... READ MORE
I used to think I was part of the save the world team. I wanted to help heal as many people (and animals) as I could. I could feel the pain, the
injustice, the suffering - and sometimes I would forget I could not take it all on by myself. That belief eventually evolved into realizing that I am part of a team - I am not the only one who wants to save the world. There are millions of us. It is not all on my shoulders. What a relief. But I was still stuck in the linear thinking that because there is suffering in the world, that I had to carry it and suffer also.
Then I started to realize that, paradoxically, the happier I am - the more I help to create happiness on ... READ MORE
A friend sent this link out for Christmas, 2011 (thank you Radha!).
When I made time to watch & listen, I was astounded at how my body reacted. I slowed down (from the craziness and overwhelm of the season). My breathing slowed, I could feel the peace. I smiled at the beauty of our earth. I felt present in my body. Ahhhh - we all need more of this.

Is there any better gift than to feel peace, feel love, feel present, feel good (God)?
Please comment and share how you feel while watching this lovely video.
I continue to be amazed at the healing that happens during my classes and sessions. Maybe thats why I never get tired of the world of energy and
healing. I see so many miracles.
Last weekend my most wonderful Intuitive Energy Medicine 8-month Program group met. Almost everyone dragged in on Saturday morning feeling overwhelmed, tired, stressed out, in some cases scared.. Some of the women expressed financial fears and stressors - basic survival issues. Some also shared boundary issues - taking care of others before taking care of self, and/or not expressing needs and feelings.
Of course, part of what was on my agenda was to teach about our kidneys and ... READ MORE
My teacher Rosalyn Bruyere used to say "don't be doing healing on someone you don't like". That is - if you want to continue to dislike them.
There's something about touching another person and channelling healing energy that opens my heart to the recipient. It is always interesting to notice my judgements of someone - and then as soon as I hear their story, and especially once I touch them with Reiki or other forms of energy healing, the judgement melts. I move from judgement to compassion and caring - and love.
Most of us are so quick to judge or anger, and much of it is based on assumptions we make up about the person, or their motivations. We ... READ MORE
