I love to help people feel healthy, happy, hopeful and empowered. I love to help people real-ize who they truly are, sense and know their core self and spirit. I love to help people experience the joy of being fully alive, present in their body and happy on our earth.
With a BA in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Business, I have spent many years as a manager in the “high tech” world, as well as many years as an energy healer and teacher.
I was initiated into First Degree Reiki in early 1986. In early 1989, I received the Second Degree training from Arthur Robertson (trained by Iris Ishikuru, trained by Hawao Takata). I worked with Arthur for nearly a year, coordinating several First & Second Degree Classes for him, as well as two Third Degree Classes and one Teacher Training. I became a Reiki Master in late 1989, and started teaching in 1990. I have taught Reiki to over 1700 students in the U.S., Hong Kong, and Greece.
I attended the first North American Reiki Masters Gathering with Phyllis Furumoto and Paul Mitchell in 1993. I believe in honoring the Reiki tradition and at the same time I choose to not follow traditional guidelines of teaching style and pricing. In addition to the traditional Reiki Initiations, I use the Sui Ching, a powerful Tibetan Initiation.
I studied with Rev. Rosalyn Bruyere from 1990 until 2002, and am a graduate of her Healing Light Center Church Crucible Program. It was from Rosalyn that I learned to heal using energy from the Earth, work with Spirit Doctors, use "psychic surgery" to make changes inside of the body, and to see and sense around as well as into the body.
Traditionally, healing and intuition are part of the path of the Goddess. Several years ago I had a profound "Re-Membering" of past lives in service to the Goddess, and am committed to bringing that ancient wisdom as well as the supportive and loving presence of the Goddess into the present. I am part of the faculty of the Ariadne Institute in Greece where we celebrate the Goddess daily.
My clear intuition and insight allow me to accurately track both students and clients, and to assist them to discover their own insights. My style is loving, playful, and supportive. My passion about Hands-On Energy Healing is contagious, and my healing and teaching has changed many lives.
I am an excellent listener and communicator, I sense on many levels both inside and around your body, I am highly sensitive and honoring of your feelings, and I love to laugh and have fun. Healing can be fun, easy and flowing, and it feels great!
